The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is a highly respected and recognized government organization responsible for conducting various recruitment exams to select candidates for various departments of the Government of India. One of the most popular exams conducted by the SSC is the SSC GD exam.
The eagerly awaited SSC GD result for the 2023 exam is expected to be released in the first week of April 2023. The exam was held from January 10, 2023, to February 14, 2023, and the scorecard was made available within 10 days. A total of 304,184 students appeared for the SSC GD 2023 examination, which had 50,187 vacancies.

The SSC GD exam was conducted in three stages, namely the Computer-Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and Physical Standard Test (PST). Aspirants who pass all three stages will be eligible for selection to various government departments.
SSC GD Result Declared
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced a significant increase in vacancies for the General Duty (GD) recruitment exam this year. Initially, the vacancies were set at 24,369, but they were later increased to 45,284, and now they have been raised again to 50,187. The SSC GD exam is a national-level test conducted to recruit Constables in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), National Investigation Agency (NIA), and Secretariat Security Force (SSF). In 2023, a total of 30,41,284 students are expected to appear for the SSC GD examination.
To check their SSC GD 2023 Result –
- The candidates should visit the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) at www.ssc.nic.in.
- Once on the homepage, they should click on the “Result” tab, which can be found on the sidebar. Next, candidates should select the SSC GD 2023 exam from the list of exams that appear in the result section.
- They will then be prompted to enter their roll number and date of birth in the SSC GD result form.
- After entering all the required details, candidates should click on the “Submit” button. The official SSC GD 2023 result will be displayed on the screen.
- Candidates can view and download their results by clicking on the download button and can take a printout of it for future reference.
