In her confession, Orsolya Gaal confessed to the murder of her ex-lover. She was stabbed more than 50 times and then stuffed in a duffel bag
Longtime lover of a married Queens mom confessed to her gruesome killing after a heated argument in her basement ended in a brutal murder in which the helpless victim was stabbed 55 times, police said Thursday.
David Bonola, 44, was charged with murder, criminal tampering, and criminal possession of a weapon in the savage attack on Orsolya Gaal about seven hours before
her body was discovered in a nearby park – stuffed inside a duffel bag, dragged from her house, and dumped there.
Bonola placed the corpse into a hockey equipment bag belonging to Gaal’s son while the teen slept upstairs, police said
He left a blood trail as he carried the corpse through the darkness, police said.
The suspect and his victim had an on-and-off relationship for over two years before their fatal encounter.
Bonola stabbed Gaal “ruthlessly and brutally” after the victim snapped during their last conversation, police said. Earlier this month, police reported that the couple was still seeing each other.
A source says Bonola was arrested after police, after visiting his home around 10:45 p.m., spotted him on the street with bandages wrapped around his hand.
